Company

Our company was founded in Leipzig in 1927 by the physician Dr. Walter Förster, whose name it still bears and to whose quality standards and principles we are still committed, namely:

Only the very best quality products and sales outside of the stationary retail trade. Dr. Förster products are not available at chemists’, health food shops or chain stores but only by direct sales, e.g. mail order, at fairs, etc.

Dr. Förster and our loyalty to our customers’ sales channel Ever since the company was founded in 1927, Dr. Förster® has stayed true to direct sales despite many temptations and attempts at persuasion! And this is how things will stay!

What does this mean for you? Most companies with a production programme similar to that of Dr. Förster® supply the stationary retail trade, i.e. specialist retailers, chemists’ and drugstores, food retailers, branch stores and chains right through to the large hypermarkets. Alongside this way of addressing the consumer, there are lots of different forms of direct sales, e.g. mail order, fair sales, market sales, event sales. Companies who use these sales channels have been our customers for more than 80 years now and for them, it is important to have a reliable supplier.

Dr. Förster® has stayed true to this sales philosophy and will continue to do so in the future. All new customers are monitored to ensure that they really do operate in direct sales, because we do not want Dr. Förster® products to be sold in retail outlets. Staying loyal to direct sales and maintaining our customers’ advisory function to customers are a very major part of our reliable service. Dr. Förster® products are designed for the special requirements of direct sales.

Day by day. Dr. Förster only has lead times as an absolute exception or for specially made products which we cannot keep in stock.
